The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in 6G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) to join the Advanced Network and Embedded Systems Lab!

🔬 Research Areas

• LEO satellite & low-altitude wireless networks

• Advanced wireless communication for beyond-5G/6G

• AI/ML-driven NTN optimization

• Protocol & system design for space-air-ground integrated networks

✅ Qualifications

• Recent Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Communications, or related field

• Strong publication record in wireless communications/networks (ML expertise a plus)

• Demonstrated experience in simulation, optimization, and system-level design for wireless, aerial, or satellite networks.

• Self-motivated researcher + team player
